Chamber Music Amarillo (CMA) was founded by pianist and artist director David Palmer. With the support of other community musicians, David began CMA’s remarkable musical journey of presenting small, intimate concerts, often in the homes of local patrons. Today, CMA gives a full season of concerts in professional venues throughout the community, featuring outstanding guest artists and repertoire, continuing its rich legacy of music-making, educational outreach, and community engagement.

In 2020, Chamber Music Amarillo joined forces with the Amarillo Symphony, expanding its opportunities to share the beauty of chamber music with an even wider audience throughout the Texas Panhandle.
