Student Camp Concert
Thursday of Camp Week  //  12:00-12:30 pm
Parents, please join us for your child’s end-of-camp concert!

Our ASYO Orchestra Camp is designed specifically for budding 6th-grade (Fall 2026) string players or students who have played their instrument for 1 year! Our ASYO staff lead this innovative camp.

Students will:
♪ learn the importance of proper warmups.
refresh basics learned in 5th grade.
♪ learn what goes into tuning their own instruments.
♪ expand on fundamentals vital to tackling MIDDLE SCHOOL ORCHESTRA!

IS THIS CAMP FOR MY CHILD?

Participating students must:
♪ be entering the 6th grade (Fall 2026) or have 1 year of playing their instrument.
♪ provide their own instrument.
♪ be ready to have fun in a collaborative learning environment!

MONDAY – THURSDAY
8:30 – 8:40 a.m. • Morning Stretches
8:45 – 9:30 p.m. • String Sectionals
9:30 – 10:30 a.m.• Daily Workshops
Tuning, Music Theory, How to Practice, Guide to MS Orch.
10:30 -10:45 a.m.•Break
10:45 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.• Ensemble Rehearsal
Thursday Only: 12:00 – 12:45p.m. • Camp Concert

CAMP DUES are $120 (includes a camp t-shirt).

All dues MUST be paid by Monday, July 13, 2026.
