Auditions

The Amarillo Symphony announces the following vacancies for the 2010-11 Season:

Principal Flute
Flute 3, 1 year vacancy
Principal Oboe
Oboe 2/English Horn
Bassoon 4
Principal Horn
Horn 4
Principal Trombone
Violin 1, Chair 3
Violin 1, Chair 8
Violin 2, Chair 9
Cello, Chair 8

Auditions will be held in Amarillo, Texas on August 28, 2010. If necessary, additional auditions may be scheduled on August 29, 2010. All candidates must register for an audition with the Operations Director no later than Friday, August 20, 2010.

Should the audition result in additional openings within a section, the audition committee reserves the right to name a winner for the vacated seat based on the auditions heard for the posted vacancy.
