Auditions

The Amarillo Symphony announces the following vacancies for the 2009-10 Season:

Violin 2, Chair 9
Cello, Chair 8
Oboe 2/English Horn, one-year vacancy
Horn 4, one-year vacancy
Co-Principal Trombone, one-year vacancy
Principal Tuba

Auditions will be held in Amarillo, Texas on September 5, 2009. If necessary, additional auditions may be scheduled on September 6, 2009. All candidates must schedule an audition time with the Operations Director in advance of the auditions.

To schedule an audition and receive an audition packet, please mail your current resume and a $50 refundable deposit (make check payable to Amarillo Symphony) to:

Should the audition result in additional openings within a section, the audition committee reserves the right to name a winner for the vacated seat based on the auditions heard for the posted vacancy.
