Gifts over and above the price of season tickets are earmarked for the Symphony’s Annual Fund, which makes it possible for the Symphony to continue providing music for the Texas Panhandle. Ticket sales cover only about half of the expenses for concerts, so donations to the Annual Fund are vitally important for the continuing welfare of the Symphony.
To recognize their generous commitment, Amarillo Symphony donors receive the following privileges and benefits.
Friend of the Symphony - $50
• Recognition at the Donor Appreciation Concert
• Acknowledgement in all concert programs
Patron - $200 All benefits above, plus:
• Priority invitations to special events
• Invitation to attend an open Symphony rehearsal
• View a Guest Artist Lecture at Amarillo College
Sustainer - $500 All benefits above, plus:
• View a Guest Artist Masterclass at WTAMU
• Invitation to Opening Night Champagne Gala
Benefactor - $1,000 All benefits above, plus:
• Recognition at Opening Night Post Concert Party
• Personal recognition from Kimbo Ishii-Eto, Music Director & Conductor
Patrons who wish to make significant gifts to the Symphony can do so in the form of concert sponsorships. These major donors provide significant support in concert production. Sponsors are classified in five different levels, with corresponding levels of benefits:
Bronze Baton - $2,500
Recognition as an “Associate Sponsor” of a Symphony concert weekend, which includes:
• Acknowledgement throughout the season
• Individual recognition from the stage at the concert you sponsor
Silver Baton - $5,000 All benefits above, plus:
Recognition as a “Contributing Sponsor” of a Symphony concert weekend, which includes:
• VIP ticketing services (an ASO staff member is assigned to accommodate your ticketing needs)
• Recognition on High Plains Public Radio
• Special seating on your chosen concert weekend
• Commemorative plaque, presented at the concert
• Pre-Concert dinner with ASO Executive Director and Board President
Gold Baton - $7,500 All benefits above, plus:
Recognition as an “Underwriting Sponsor” of a Symphony concert weekend, which includes:
• Private dinner with Kimbo Ishii-Eto, Music Director & Conductor
• A Symphony Musician or Duet will perform in your home (advanced scheduling necessary)
• Backstage Meeting with the Guest Artist
Platinum Baton - $15,000 All benefits above, plus:
Recognition as a “Principal Sponsor” – the sole individual or sole corporate sponsor of a concert weekend (may be shared), which includes:
• Pre- or Post-concert party in your honor
• A Symphony Trio or Quartet to perform in your home (advanced scheduling necessary)
• Lunch with the President of the Amarillo Symphony Board of Directors upon request
Diamond Baton - $25,000 All benefits above, plus:
Recognition as the "Exclusive Sponsor" - the one and only sponsor of a Symphony concert weekend
