Support the Amarillo Symphony!
During this time of joy and thanksgiving, the Amarillo Symphony is truly grateful for the support received during the past year from the Texas Panhandle. We are very thankful for our many blessings and what we have accomplished this year with your help, including:
- Our 85 professional musicians who live & work in the Panhandle
- The 150 students who participate in our Youth Orchestra program & receive quality instruction from our musicians
- The 400+ volunteers who give their time and talent to serve on the Symphony Guild and Board of Directors
- Our premiere July 4th concert, free to the community, with over 10,000 listeners
- The 14,000+ concertgoers who experienced the joy of live orchestral music in the Globe-News Center for the Performing Arts
- The 16,000 regional elementary students who attended our educational concerts including Concerts for Young People, Kinderkonzerts and String Family
- The 40,000+ residents we reach in Texas, Oklahoma, and Kansas through broadcasts on High Plains Public Radio
- The 400+ patrons who supported the Symphony during the 2010 Annual Fund campaign
Our wish this holiday season is for our loyal patrons to join us in our quest to infuse the Amarillo community with an unbridled enthusiasm for the performance and discovery of great orchestral music. We are able to accomplish our mission because of partners like you. Today we invite you to Support the Sound with your contribution to the Amarillo Symphony.
