Kimbo opens his first full season with the Amarillo Symphony with new takes on some of the repertoire's most famous composers, starting with Ravel's refreshing Menuet Antique. Kyoko Takezawa, one of the world's best violinists, joins the Symphony for Tchaikovsky's virtuosic concerto. The concert ends with Shostakovich's rousing First Symphony.
