The Amarillo Symphony may have been around for more than 80 years, but that doesn’t make us old.

Especially not now.

With a home in a fresh, thrilling venue and a new Music Director who’ll usher in an era of innovation, we are ready to celebrate dynamic times with dynamic people.  Thus, the Amarillo Symphony’s Downtown Social Club.

The DSC is the home for young professionals between the ages of 25 and 45 looking to hang out with people in some of Amarillo's best downtown haunts.  It’s simple: Just show up for drinks and appetizers before the concert, meet some of Amarillo’s coolest folks, and then enjoy a spectacular concert.

The DSC isn't looking for any kind of commitment. We don’t even ask members to subscribe to the Symphony -- though best-available tickets will be on sale right up until the first downbeat at almost every concert. Most of our events are scheduled around Symphony concerts, but concert-going isn't mandatory -- just a cool perk.  We also have non-concert events designed to build friendships between DSC members and our younger Symphony musicians.
