Christmas Roundup
Christmas Roundup is a three-day holiday gift market held at the Amarillo Civic Center benefiting both the Amarillo Symphony Guild and the Amarillo Art Museum Alliance.
Christmas Roundup 2011- A Heavenly Holiday- kicks off with a Girls' Night Out premiere party from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Thursday, November 3, in the Civic Center South Exhibit Hall. Tickets are $20 and are good for re-entry all weekend.
Shopping hours are 10 am to 6 pm Friday, November 4, and Saturday, November 5, and noon to 5 pm Sunday, November 6. Shopping is located in the Civic Center South Exhibit Hall. Admission is $5 per person; children 12 and under are free.
This collaborative event began in 1980 and has become a popular holiday tradition for people in Amarillo and throughout the Panhandle. Merchants from across the south and southwest rent booths to show and sell their gift items in a festive holiday environment. Items range from Christmas decorations and clothing, to jewelry, art and antiques, to food and gift items.
